Birmingham artist Safone links up with South London rapper J Gang to hit us with the brand new music video to their latest Scutla produced effort entitled, Target Aim.
Charlie Sloth has dropped ‘Running’ with Abra Cadabra and Ghetts, this one definitely brings the hype.
Charlie is certainly on a run over recent weeks, following the release of three consecutive quality tracks from his album, The Plug (which is expected on the 18th of August) . Which at this point is appearing to be the UK’s answer to a DJ Khaled album, with the biggest names in the scene coming out to represent for Charlie.
This most recent effort sees Ghetts and Abra Cadabra coming out for Charlie, with Ghetts bringing his usual intense style, which compliments, perfectly with Abra Cababra’s rather similarly intense and rough style, which appears to be a perfect pairing. Especially with the differences in pitch between the two artists as Ghetts comes with a comparatively high pitch when compared to Abz. Which helps to make the song seem quite raw and gritty, which fits perfectly with the lyrics coming from the two, with the hook shouting out “why these f**k boys still running” (where I assume the track takes it’s title from).
The video which is shot in an abandoned warehouse continues this gritty feel, with sparks and fire flying from the dancers, broken glass, steel beams, sledgehammers and flares, it certainly fits the intense styles of both Abz and Ghetts.
Definitely check this out, as it shows Charlie pursuing the title of the UK’s DJ Khaled as he continues to get the best artists in the UK to feature on songs from his forthcoming album. I certainly look forward to seeing what else is to come for Charlie on this album.

East London rapper Dizzee Rascal has been missing for a minute now but he’s back with a blazing new track titled ‘Space’.
This is the first glimpse of Dizzee’s new album Raskit, which he unveiled to his fans yesterday with a mysterious live stream online. Raskit which is set to be released on July 21, 2017, is the Mercury Prize winner’s first album in four years following 2013’s The Fifth. The album which Dizzee has said is “very loud’ in a Beats 1 interview, has already attracted attention when rumour spread that Dizzee disses Wiley on the record.
Judging by his new single ‘Space’ and the sneak peek of music yesterday, the album might see a return to Dizzee’s grime roots. This is surprising given he has been adamant in the past this is something he didn’t want to do.

East London’s Paigey Cakey dropped a brilliant mixtape titled Red Velvet last year. Employing elements of Afrobeats, trap and traditional rap, the EP showcased a taste of her versatility with her style and flow, and, today, she drops a new set of visuals for ‘Special’ which was taken from her project.
‘Special’ sees a departure from Paigey’s signature rap style and instead offers up her vocals on this slow- tempo love song produced by Ric and Thadeus. In an interview last year Paigey Cakey described her single “as a very special song as it means something to me. I went through the same situation I’m speaking about”. In the Craig Capone directed video, we see Paigey Cakey in a relationship with what looks like a scammer. The rapper/singer is treated to nice expensive but eventually, her lovers luck runs out with Paigey Cakey having to pay the price.
The East London rapper has been artist who has maintained a very high level when it comes to releasing exciting music over the last year or so and thankfully doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon.
